Borbonesa is a group of artists collaborating to make books, occasional papers, films and other artworks. The group was formed around the year 2000 in Brighton, England, and came to be known as Borbonesa, after the title of its first printed volume.

In 2014 we created The Great Work; a short stop-frame animation with sound and music Robert Stillman. It was launched at Brighton's Cine-City in November 2014.

We work with schools, universities and cultural organisations to run creative learning opportunities in the form of short courses, workshops and participatory events. For more information please contact us.

In 2003 Borbonesa published natural wonder publication Turtle Soup. As part of the project the musicians 'His Son Elroy', were commissioned to write and record sixteen original songs, released in four parts over the course of the year. To mark the tenth anniversary of its release, 4X4 (The Four EPs) Borbonesa re-issued the album in digital format, via Bandcamp.
